Stationery Haul #1

Hi everyone! I’m so excited to be back here with a new blog post! I’m very busy and have a lot of projects going on at the moment, next to this I’m on an internship for 5 days a week. I want to make more content, but it is difficult to find time for all the projects that I want to work on! Nevertheless, I’m back and this time with my first stationery haul! Well, not my actual first stationery haul, but the first time that I’m sharing one. In March I bought quite some stationery items, oops! So let’s get going!

The first item I bought was an Archer and Olive notebook. I will be filling my scribbles that matter in May, which meant that I needed a new bullet journal notebook for June. I use around 22-24 pages each month, and to be able to fit in the rest of the year, I needed a notebook with quite some pages. The Archer and Olive notebooks caught my eye almost a year ago. I had never bought one until now, they are quite expensive and there were so many other notebooks that I wanted to try as well. But after 2,5 years of bullet journaling and trying almost any other notebook, it was time to give in. So I bought myself the most gorgeous looking dark green dotted notebook, with a gold leaf pattern on the cover. This was a true gift to unpack when it arrived.

I bought my Archer and Olive notebook at 24papershop, which is a Dutch website for stationery items.

With this notebook, I also needed new fineliners. No, I don’t buy fineliners for every new notebook, but after using my Pigma Micron fineliners for over 1,5 years now they are slowly giving up on me. I have to say that I’m amazed that they are not dried out yet or anything like that. The only thing I notice when writing or drawing is that the nibs are giving a wobbly look to the line, instead of it being a straight line. The past 4 months this has been getting much worse, so what else could I do than just buy a new pack of my favourite fineliners!

And as you can see in the picture, I also bought a new Tombow dual tip brush pen. I meannn… I can’t order at a pen/stationery store without buying at least one of these. Guilty.

Finally, the last three items I bought in March, a royal talent Gouache set, a Posca marker with a small tip and a paint pallet box. I had seen so many amazing artists online, that made beautiful gouache paintings of little houses or flowers that I wanted to try this as well. Have to say, it’s the end of April by now and the only thing I’ve done so far is painted half of a house. Not so successful so far, but I’m excited to work on this in the summer holidays!

If you’re interested, I bought all the other items at hobbyshoponline. Just for your knowledge, none of the links in this post are affiliates. I bought all these items myself.
