October 2021 | Tea Bullet Journal Theme In Pictures

How is it almost November, the months are actually flying and I almost can’t keep up. I had the sudden realization that I have to start thinking about my 2022 set-ups. But this blog post is still about my October theme, so we’re all good.

Cover Spread

This theme was so different compared to all of my other themes. I decided to (finally) make a kraft paper theme and I loved creating something totally different. If you didn’t know, I also filmed a plan with me video of my beginning set-up! Click here to watch!

I kept my cover spread really simple, but I tried to use different materials. The teabags are white but glued onto a bit of kraft paper, which created a little border around the teabags. I added some string to the teabags and added a little tag on the other end. For the month I used a banner that is glued to the pages with some 3D adhesive tape.

For my quote page, I cut out a quote that I found on Pinterest (there is a link to it on my video). I used my Tombow markers on a piece of plastic and added some water to create this watercolor effect. The quote is sometimes a bit unclear to see in pictures but in real life, it is better to see the contrast.

The colours that I used this month

  • Tombow dual tip brush pen in 026
  • Tombow dual tip brush pen in 679
  • Tombow dual tip brush pen 992
  • ZIG scroll & brush pen in 804 plum mist

Monthly Spread

When I made the decision to use kraft paper, I knew immediately that I wanted to create this monthly spread with separate boxes out of kraft paper. I love how this looked in the end and the time it took cutting and sticking all of these boxes was definitely worth it!

When I saw this amazing habit tracker layout from @caitlinmariedasilva I immediately fell in love! Caitlin makes the best kraft paper bullet journal spreads, so if you need some inspiration make sure to take a look at her page.

I kept my mood tracker quite simple this month. A little tip from me: make a little cut-out teabag and use it to trace all of them for your mood tracker. They don’t have to be perfect but it’s a lot easier to add 31 teabags to your spread this way!

The next spread that I want to show you is my memories tracker or also known as a one-line a day spread. I used this layout from @teanbujo and I’ll definitely use this more often! The tanned lines make it so much easier to write neat and clean, which makes such a difference!

I used the same set-up as last month for my content planner, this month I wasn’t really a fan of this spread. I didn’t use my Pinterest planner at all and just used my content planner for Instagram.

Weekly Spreads

I had the best time creating weeklies with my kraft paper this month. It was a challenge because it is so different from what I’m used to, but I liked having this challenge for all of my spreads. I also love how my pages turned out, especially my first and third weekly (both on the left).

I hope that you liked seeing all of my spreads this month. If you want to see what I created for November click here and make sure to follow me on Instagram to see all of my bullet journal spreads!
